Conducted by Nancy Etcoff, Ph.D., of Massachusetts General Hospital and the Boston Harvard Medical School (Boston), this study concluded that when freshly cut flowers are present, people are less likely to feel depressed, more compassionate toward others and have less worry and anxiety.
