Aztec Plants recently undertook an exciting project for the Porsche showroom in High Wycombe. The project presented unique challenges and opportunities, aligning the showroom’s design with Porsche’s luxury brand values through the placement of living plants and floral arrangements.
The Porsche brand marketing team provided a detailed “Visual Merchandising Greenery Guidance” document, outlining a comprehensive plan for the project’s look and feel, placements, planters, and plant species.
This guidance emphasised the importance of using tropical plants for their robustness and ease of care, with a specific limit of three potted species throughout the showroom to maintain a cohesive aesthetic.
The Porsche guidance document recommended the following plants:
- Dracena trifasciata: Known for its upright, sword-like leaves, providing a sleek look.
- Monstera: Featuring large, perforated leaves, adding a dramatic touch.
- Golden Pothos: Offering a trailing vine with heart-shaped leaves, perfect for adding a splash of color.
- Zamioculcas, Alocasia, and Rubber Tree Plant: Completing the trio of tropical plants, each bringing its unique texture and shape to the design.

The guidance also included specifications for flower bouquets, emphasising a specific colour scheme to complement Porsche’s luxury image.
The “Do’s and Don’ts” of floral design ensured the arrangements contributed to the overall aesthetic, enhancing the showroom’s visual appeal.
The successful completion of this project highlights Aztec Plants’ ability to adhere to strict brand guidelines while delivering a service that enhances the overall customer experience.
Porsche’s precise approach to design and marketing, supported by Aztec Plants, emphasises the luxury association of the brand, reinforcing its position in the market.
The harmonious integration of greenery into the showroom exemplifies the synergy between Aztec Plants and Porsche, setting a new standard for living plant hire services in the luxury automobile industry.
