For over 20 years, Aztec Plants has partnered with Cambridge-based leading pharmaceutical company to enhance their workspaces with expertly designed and maintained indoor plant installations.
Most recently, we supported them through an office refurbishment that saw their large, open-plan workplace transformed with a modern, minimalist design. The refresh offered a perfect opportunity to evolve their plant displays in line with the new aesthetic.
The new look of the office is sleek and clinical – white walls, grey carpet, and white desks – providing a clean and professional base. To balance this palette, we introduced vibrant plant life arranged in clusters of freestanding pots.
Using colourful planters, we added bursts of interest and warmth throughout the space, breaking up the environment while still respecting the clean lines of the decor.
One of the most notable transformations was in the breakout area. Here, the tone shifts to a more relaxed, natural feel with wooden furniture and warmer colours. To complement this, we installed a new range of planters made from lightweight fiberglass with a stone-like finish.
These textures and tones blend beautifully with the organic materials in the space, creating a soothing, nature-inspired environment for employees to unwind in.
To further enhance the visual interest of the workspace, we also installed one of our newer products – living pictures. Mounted on the white walls, these vertical plant frames act as living works of art, introducing lush greenery at eye level without taking up any floor space. It’s a unique, eye-catching way to integrate nature into office design and particularly effective in spaces with clean architectural lines.
This is the third refresh we’ve delivered for this Cambridge-based firm over two decades, demonstrating one of the key benefits of plant hire: the ability to evolve your interior landscape as your office, brand, and trends change.
